GOLDEN, Colo. — Four members of the Pittsburg State University football team earned 2025 D2CCA All-Super Region Four honors today (Dec. 4).
Redshirt senior defensive back
Jordan Rogers, junior placekicker
Austin Schmitt and redshirt senior offensive lineman
Carter Stanchfield all were selected as first-team All-Region honorees, while redshirt senior defensive lineman
Jeremy Sharp was selected to the second-team All-Region squad.
Rogers (Bellmead, Texas) made 85 tackles (41 solo) with 6.0 tackles-for-loss, 1.5 quarterback sacks, five interceptions, five pass breakups and four forced fumbles on the season.
Schmitt (Grain Valley, Mo.) converted 19 of 30 field goal attempts, 44 of 45 PAT tries and scored a team-leading 107 points. Schmitt ranks fourth in NCAA Division II in field goals per game (1.46 pg).
Stanchfield (Paola, Kan.) anchored a Pitt State offensive line that helped the Gorillas average 29.2 points and 394.6 yards of total offense per game.
Sharp (Peculiar, Mo.) made 36 tackles (16 solo) with a team-leading 9.5 tackles-for-loss and 6.5 quarterback sacks.
Pitt State posted a 10-3 record and qualified for the NCAA Division II playoffs for a fourth consecutive season in 2025. The Gorillas captured a share of the 2025 MIAA Championship.
