Pittsburg State Gorillas

Started in 1988, the Pittsburg State University Intercollegiate Athletics Hall of Fame recognizes elite teams, former Gorilla student-athletes and former PSU coaches/staff members.

An eight-person selection committee composed of alumni and current athletic staff members evaluates the merits of the candidates who have been nominated for this distinction. Pitt State Athletics selects a new class each spring, with an annual induction ceremony and celebration taking place in the fall.

The Hall of Fame is located in the south hallway on the first floor of the Garfield Weede Building.

The Inductees each receive a commemorative plaque. Additionally, their accomplishments hang in the PSU Athletics Hall of Fame.
