Biography

Second-year player… a talented righthander with tremendous potential… suffered an arm injury during the fall of 2009 which will required him to redshirt the 2010 season… will look to vie for significant action this spring.

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Kansas City Kansas C.C. … posted a staff-best 7-5 record with a 6.14 ERA in 13 appearances for the Blue Devils in 2009.

In High School:  A four-year starter at Derby High School… a two-time All-League performer, earning first-team honors as a senior in 2007.

Personal:  Born September 15, 1988… son of Richard and Brenda Etling… a physical education major.
