Biography

General: Fifth-year player… a talented linebacker who has battled injury during his Pitt State career… a hard worker who is looking for a breakthrough senior campaign for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2016-18: Saw action in six games in 2018… posted one assisted tackle… saw action in eight games in 2017… made six tackles (two solo) on the season… saw action in four games in 2016 before suffering a season-ending knee injury… made two tackles (one solo) on the season.

In 2015: Redshirt season.

In High School: The Missouri Class 2A Defensive Player of the Year as a senior at Lamar High School in 2014… a Max Preps second-team All-American as a senior for the Tigers… a two-time All-State selection (2013-14)… a three-time All-Conference performer… made 65 tackles with four interceptions and four forced fumbles his senior year… helped LHS to four consecutive Class 2A state titles (2011-14).

Personal: Born March 22, 1997… son of Todd and Cathy McDonald… a four-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.57 GPA as an exercise science major.
