Fourth-year player… a solid righthander who figures to impact the Gorillas’ pitching staff out of the bullpen again this spring… made 13 relief appearances in 2010, posting a 1-1 record and a 7.47 ERA in 15.2 innings of work… made 14 relief appearances in 2009… posted an 0-0 record with one save and a 7.85 ERA in 18.3 innings of work… earned the save vs. Washburn (Apr. 17)… made 13 relief appearances in 2008… posted an 0-0 record with a 5.65 ERA in 14.3 innings of work… worked seven scoreless relief appearances in 2008.

In Junior College:  Redshirted in his only season at Garden City.

In High School:  A two-year starter at Omaha’s Skutt Catholic High School.

Personal:  Born April 21, 1988… son of Craig and Linette Bartling… graduated with a bachelor’s degree in management… currently pursuing a master’s degree in business administration.
