Biography

Third-year player… a talented righthander who is expected to challenge for a spot in the Gorillas’ starting rotation again this spring… made seven appearances in 2010, including four starts… posted a 11.45 ERA in 22.0 innings… redshirted in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2009.

In Junior College:  Spent two seasons at Kirkwood Community College… an honorable mention All-Region selection as a sophomore in 2008.

In High School:  A stand-out performer at Assumption High School… a four-year starter for the Knights.

Personal:  Born August 17, 1987… son of Stan and Jackie Hintze… a construction management major.
