Biography

General: Sixth-year player… a hard-working player who has battled to become a frontline performer… expected to be a key member of the tight end corps again this fall.

In 2017: Saw action in all 12 games, including two starts… caught eight passes for 71 yards (8.9 ypc) on the season.

In 2015-16: Saw action in all 11 games, including one start, in 2015… made two receptions for 18 yards on the season… saw action in three games in 2016 before suffering a season-ending injury.

In 2013-14: Did not see any action on the field in 2014 after redshirting in his initial year in the Pitt State program (2013).

In High School: A first-team Kansas Class 4A All-State selection at tight end as a senior at Hayden High School in 2012… also an All-Centennial League selection on both sides of the ball… a three-year starter for the Wildcats… a 2013 Kansas Shrine Bowl selection.

Personal: Born June 22, 1995… son of Eric & Debra Otting … a four-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… graduated with a bachelor’s degree in accounting… pursuing a master’s of business administration degree.
