General: Second-year player… made the most of his redshirt season last year… will look to contend for playing time for the Gorillas this fall.

In High School: A first-team All-Conference performer at defensive tackle as a senior at Lee’s Summit North High in 2011… also an All-Conference discus thrower in track & field for the Broncos.

Personal: Born July 30, 1993… son of Roderick Holmes and Monica Johnson… a recreation  major.
