General: Second-year player… redshirted his initial season in the Pitt State program… a talented athlete who made the transition from quarterback to tight end during spring drills…  will provide quality depth at the position for the Gorillas.

In 2012: Redshirt season.

In High School: A Kansas Class 4A All-State performer at quarterback and defensive back as a senior at Rose Hill High in 2011… named to the Kansas Top 11 (All-State, All-Class) squad as a defensive back… led the Rockets to a 13-1 record and the Class 4A state title his senior year… compiled 2,622 yards of total offense (1,528 rushing, 1,118 passing) with 31 TDs (17 rush, 14 pass)… also made 135 tackles (72 solo) with two interceptions and eight pass breakups… a 2011 Class 4A state champion in track & field (4x400m relay)… a 2012 Kansas Shrine Bowl selection.

Personal: Born October 1, 1993… son of Keith and Cheryl Decker… a construction management major.
