General: Second-year player… redshirted his initial year in the program… a promising secondary prospect… will add quality depth at safety for the Gorillas this fall.

In 2012: Redshirt season.

In High School: A three-time All-City and All-Conference selection as a defensive back at Wichita Northwest High (2009-11)… recorded five interceptions his senior season, tying a state record with three INTs in a game… helped the Grizzlies to four straight district titles (2008-11).

Personal: Born May 12, 1993… son of Todd and Gina Wiedemann… a membr of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.72 GPA as a nursing major.
