In 2015: Saw action in all 11 games, including six starts… posted 13 receptions for 138 yards (10.6 ypc) and four touchdowns… had a season-best three receptions for 38 yards vs. FHSU (Sept. 26).
In 2014: Saw action in all 13 games, including seven starts… made 24 catches for 220 yards (9.2 ypc) and two touchdowns… had seven receptions for 41 yards and a TD in the NCAA-II playoffs vs. Harding (Nov. 22)… garnered third-team All-MIAA honors.
In 2013: Appeared in all 12 games, including four starts… recorded four catches for 38 yards (9.5 ypc).
In 2011-12: Exercised a medical redshirt in 2012, after redshirting in his initial season in the Pitt State program in 2011.
In High School: A Kansas Class 6A All-State performer as a senior at Olathe North High in 2010… also an All-Metro, All-City and All-League selection for the Eagles.
Personal: Born March 22, 1993… son of Chip Swartz and Rick and Amy Gehlbach… a five-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… graduated with a bachelor’s of science degree in mathematics in December 2015… earned a 3.80 GPA in his first semester pursuing a master’s degree in educational leadership.
