Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a promising safety who continues to improve with experience… a hard worker who figures to compete for playing time this fall.

In 2013-15: Saw limited action the past two seasons (2014-15), after redshirting in his initial season in the program in 2013.

In High School: An honorable mention Kansas Class 5A All-State selection at running back as a senior at Blue Valley High School in 2012… the Eastern Kansas League Special Teams Player of the Year his senior season… rushed for 1,105 yards and caught 27 passes for 374 yards.

Personal: Born November 10, 1994… son of Rick & Kristi McNerlin… a three-year member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.50 GPA as an exercise science major.
