Biography

General: Fourth-year player… a promising offensive lineman who is looking for a breakout junior campaign… coming off a solid spring camp… figures to contend for significant action at offensive guard this fall.

In 2014: Saw action in five games in a reserve role at offensive guard.

In 2012-13: Saw limited action in 2013 after redshirting his initial season with the program.

In High School: A first-team Missouri Class 4A All-State performer as an offensive lineman as a senior at Kearney High in 2011… helped the Bulldogs to a 12-1 record and the Class 4A state title as a junior in 2010… helped KHS to a pair of conference titles and four district championships during his prep career.

Personal: Born August 19, 1993… son of Tom and Mary Ann Funk… a plastics engineering technology major.
