Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Enters his third year with the program...Looking to improve after eaning All-MIAA honors last spring.

2011-2012: Recorded two top three overall finishes...Averaged 78.1 strokes/round...Finished 13th overall at the MIAA Championships to earn all conference accolades.

2010-2011: Averaged 78.5 strokes/round for the Gorillas.

In High School: A three-team All-League golfer, helped his team to a fourth place finish at state his senior year...had four top 5 placings his last year for the Cougars...averaged 76.0 strokes/round...a four-year letterwinniner in golf and two-year letterwinner in bowling...was also a First-Team All-State bowler.

Personal: Born July 25, 1991...son of Mike and Kim Dowell...member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.11 GPA as a political science major.
