Pittsburg State Gorillas

General: Enters his third year with the program...a veteran on the Pitt State squad who will look to build on two successful seasons for the Gorillas… has earned All-MIAA accolades in each of his first two years at Pitt State… was named MIAA Freshman of the Year during the 2011-2012 season.

2012-2013: Finished in the top 10 at two tournaments… averaged 77.9 strokes/round... earned All-MIAA honors for the second time in his career in the season-long point race

2011-2012: Recorded three individual top 10 finishes...averaged 77.2 strokes/round... earned All-MIAA honors in the season-long point race and also garnered MIAA Freshman of the Year honors.

In High School: A four-year letterwinner in golf at Topeka’s Hayden High School... a three-time all city selection... finished first at the Kansas Class 4A State Championship after posting a low score of 68.

Personal: Born March 7, 1993... son of Rito and Michelle Valdivia... a two-year member of the MIAA Honor Roll… has a 3.14 GPA a business management major.
