Enters his fourth season with the Pittsburg State program... a promising runner who will look to contribute for the Gorillas this fall.
In 2014: Competed in five meets for the Gorillas…placed 35th overall at the 2014 MIAA Championships.
In 2013: Did not compete.
In 2012: Redshirt season.
In High School: Recorded a season best 5K time of 16:28 at the Kansas State Championships to finish 15th...also a member of the 4.0 GPA honor roll at Shawnee Mission Northwest High School.
Personal: Born June 11, 1993... son of Phil and Jean Yates... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.26 GPA as an accounting major.
