Biography
Enters his fourth season in the Pittsburg State program... one of the premiere runners in the MIAA… an impact performer who is looking for a big senior season.
In 2014: Competed in all six meets as PSU’s No.1 runner…Earned an individual berth to the NCAA-II National Championships by finishing 13th overall at the NCAA Central Regional… garnered All-MIAA honors with a fifth place finish at the MIAA Championships.
In 2013: Competed in all six meets… PSU's No. 1 runner at the MSSU Stampede on Sept. 21 and the FHSU Open on Oct. 12.
In 2012: Competed in all five races for PSU... recorded his best time at the MST Jackling Invitational with a time of 25:42.41 to finish 16th overall… finished with a time of 27:13.27 at the 2012 MIAA Championships, finishing 48th overall.
In 2011: Redshirt season.
On the Track: Competes in the 3,000m, 5,000m and the 10,000m disciplines for the Gorillas.
In High School: Took first at the 2010 Kansas Class 1A-4A State Cross Country Meet with a time of 16:31 in the 5000m race... placed third in the 3200 & 1600m 2011 Kansas State Track and Field Championships... was a four-time All-State cross country performer at Northeast High School.
Personal: Born July 21, 1993… son of Greg and Tracey Bogina... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.39 GPA as an early/late childhood education major.
