Enters his second season in the Pitt State program… a returning All-American thrower who is primed for a big senior season… placed sixth at nationals in the discus (178-6)… captured MIAA titles in the discus (188-1), hammer throw (191-2) and the weight throw (59-2.25)… has a personal-best of 196-6 in the hammer… In Junior College: A two-time national champion thrower at Hutchinson Community College… captured dual national titles in the discus and hammer in 2011… was named the Region VI Juco Field Athlete of the Year… qualified for USA nationals in the discus with a throw of 195-4 at the “Throwstock” pentathlon in October 2010… named the Big South Conference Freshman of the Year in field events for 2009… In High School: Won and set a new meet record at the KU Relays in 2008… was homeschooled… Personal: Born July 3, 1989... son of Mark and JoAnna Talbert... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.36 GPA as a manufacturing engineering technology major.
