Biography
Enters his fifth season in the PSU program… a two-time NCAA-II All-American in the javelin… the defending NCAA-II national runner-up in the discipline… redshirted last season… defended his MIAA javelin title in 2010, then finished second in the nation at the 2010 NCAA-II Championships… captured the MIAA title and placed fourth at nationals in the discipline as a sophomore in 2009… ranks fourth (223-11) on PSU’s all-time top performers list... also earned All-MIAA honors with a fifth-place showing at the 2008 MIAA Outdoors.
In High School: A Kansas Class 6A All-State performer in the javelin at Shawnee Mission West High... the 2007 state runner-up in the discipline.
Personal: Born February 3, 1989... son of Steve and Michelle Beeler... an ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District VII selection.… the USTFCCCA Scholar Athlete of the Year… a three-year member of the MIAA All-Academic Team (2008-10)… also a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... a chemistry major.
