Biography
Enters her fourth season with the Pittsburg State program... a talented athlete who continues to improve with experience.
In 2011: Ran in four meets for PSU...posted her season best 6K time of 19:40 at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree...recorded a time of 23:52 at the MIAA Championships, helping the Gorillas to capture their second straight confrence title.
In 2010: Competed in three meets for the Gorillas...finished 19th overall with a time of 20:07 at the Oklahoma Baptist Invitational 5K.
In 2009: Competed in all six of Pitt State's meets... her best finish of 12th overall came at the UCM Mule Run posting a time of 15:59.
On the Track: Placed 7th in the 800m, 6th in the 1,500m and was a member of the 4x400m relay team that placed 8th at the MIAA Outdoor Championships... also placed seventh at the 2010 MIAA Indoor Championships in the 800m...finished 5th at the 2012 MIAA Indoor Championships in the 800m.
In High School: The Kansas Class 3A Cross Country State Champion as a senior at Belle Plaine High School in 2009... also the state champion in the 800m and 3200m and the state runner-up in the 1600m at the 2009 Kansas 3A State Track Meet.
Personal: Born August 22, 1991... daughter of Tim and Veronica Callaway... a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.20 GPA as a mathmatics/statistics major.
