Biography
Enters her second season with the Pittsburg State program...a talented young runner who will look to build on a national qualifying freshman campaign.
In 2011: Competed in all six races for the Gorillas...ran a season best 6K time of 20:20 at the OSU Cowboy Jamboree...finished 33rd at the MIAA Championships helping PSU claim their second consecutive conference title...qualified for nationals after finishing 45th at the South Central Regional...finished with a time of 24:02 at the NCAA-II Championships.
On the Track: Competed in the 800m, 1500m, 3000m and mile for the Gorillas...placed 9th at the 2012 MIAA Indoor Championships in the mile...finished 5th in the 1500m at the 2012 MIAA Outdoor Championships with a time of 4:46.
In High School: A five-time Kansas Class 2-1A state champion… won the 3200m in 2008 and 2009, the 1600m in 2010, and the 800m in 2010… won the 1A/2A Kansas Cross Country Championship in 2008.
Personal: Personal: Born April 5, 1993… daughter of Mike and Cindy Henderson…a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll... has a 3.74 GPA as a physical science major.
