Pittsburg State Gorillas

Ty Campbell enters his third year as an assistant athletic trainer at Pittsburg State University in the 2025-26 school year through Freeman Health System. He works with the men's and women's basketball and golf programs.

Prior to Pitt State, Campbell served as an athletic trainer at Freed-Hardeman University for three years where he worked with volleyball, men's basketball and softball teams. He also spent one year at Point University, covering football and men's basketball. 

Campbell earned her bachelor's degree in exercise & movement science from Missouri State University in 2016 and master's degree in athletic training from the University of Arkansas in 2018.

He is married to the former Sarah West. The couple have a four year old son, Tyger. The Campbells reside in Carl Junction, Mo.
