Enters her fourth season in the Pitt State program…a talented distance runner who is looking for a breakthrough junior campaign… has indoor PRs of 5:29.61 in the mile and 10:33.80 in the 3,000m and outdoor PRs of 4:58.07 in the 1,500m and 11:35.87 in the 3,000m… also a member of the PSU cross country team… earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors with a 13th place finish at the 2016 MIAA Championships… In High School: A standout prep athlete at Wichita East High School… Personal: Born May 2, 1995… daughter of Carrie Heiman… a member of the MIAA Academic Honor Roll… has a 3.93 GPA as a biology major.
