Tom Westhoff is entering his first year as Senior Associate Athletic Director for Financial Operations and second working in the athletic department.
Westhoff, a 17-year PSU employee, is transitioning to the athletic department after serving in a variety of roles in the PSU Housing Department since July 2006.
In this role, Westhoff will serve as the primary administrator to manage and organize all revenue streams, including those from private sources and organize and manage all corresponding expenditures. This includes oversight of finances for personnel, operations, scholarships and facilities.
Westhoff came to campus in 2006 as an Accountant II for PSU Housing. He became Assistant Director of Housing Operations in 2011 and most recently was elevated to the role of Director of Housing Administration in 2021.
A native of St. Paul, Kan., Tom earned a bachelor’s degree in management from PSU in 1994 and a master’s of business administration (MBA) in 2017. His wife, Alicia, is a double PSU graduate, earning her bachelor’s degree in 1994 and master’s degree in 2011.
Tom and Alicia have a daughter, Anna, who will be attending PSU in Fall 2023, and a son, Michael, who attends St. Mary’s-Colgan High School. The Westhoffs reside in rural Oronogo, Mo.
