PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University volleyball team will return to action Tuesday (Oct. 24) when the Gorillas will host No. 10 University of Central Oklahoma at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court. First serve is set for 6 p.m. (CDT).

Scouting the Gorillas
Pitt State enters the weekend action with a 3-20 overall record and an 0-11 MIAA mark. The Gorillas will seek to capture their first MIAA win against the Bronchos and snap a 14-match losing streak.
Offensively, junior rightside hitter Lauren Regier leads the squad with 220 kills (2.72 kps) followed closely by junior rightside hitter Noelle Dooley with 186 kills (2.45 kps).

Freshman setter Camryn Blanton has collected 198 assists on the season, averaging 4.50 assists per set.

Sophomore defensive specialist Lauren Dunn helps pace the Pitt State defense with 223 digs (2.97 dps), while freshman middle blocker Emily Regier averages 0.85 blocks per set.

Scouting the Opposition
UCO is 22-3 overall, 9-2 in MIAA play and ranked No. 10 in the most recent AVCA/Division II national poll entering Tuesday's action.

Junior outside hitter Taylor Bevis leads the Bronchos offense averaging 5.15 kills per set. UCO's defensive leaders are sophomore defensive specialist Dominique Lipari with 399 digs (4.81 dps) and senior middle blocker Alexis Washington (1.07 blocks per set).
