Box Score PITTSBURG, Kan. — Fort Hays State University volleyball team defeats Pittsburg State University volleyball team in four sets on Saturday (Sept. 30). The Tigers defeated the Gorillas 27-25, 19-25, 25-27, 22-25.

FHSU (9-10, 1-4 MIAA) placed three players in double figure kills with Magan Alexander leading with 15 kills, Callie Christensen (11), and Logan Wallick (10). Becca Page added 25 assists for the Tigers, with Taylor White recording 18 digs.

Pitt State (3-14, 0-5 MIAA) hit only .154 as a team. The Gorrillas had two players in double figure kills, Lauren Regier with the team-high 15 kills and Mia Bledsoe with 10 kills. Carolina Vanbuskirk contributed 33 assists for the Gorilla offense and Lauren Dunn recorded 26 digs on the match.

Pitt State will return back to action next weekend (Oct. 6-7) with a pair of road matches against Washburn (Friday) and Emporia State (Saturday).
