PITTSBURG — Pittsburg State University officials announced today (Oct. 26) that the Gorillas 2020 football season opener against the University of Nebraska-Kearney Saturday (Oct. 31) is sold out.
 
All available tickets for the match-up between the Gorillas and Lopers have been sold. No additional tickets will sold throughout the week and no tickets will be sold on game day. Due to seating restrictions brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic, Carnie Smith Stadium is operating at approximately 25 percent capacity.
 
Fans unable to see the Gorillas in action in person have a bevy of alternate options available via live television, radio and web stream.
 
For fans in the Four States Region, the game will be broadcast live on KSN TV with a 12:05 p.m. (CDT) kickoff. An extensive pregame show begins at 11:30 a.m.  and the broadcast team features PSU alum Brian Johnston handling play-by-play duties and former Gorilla Hall of Famer and longtime NFL member Kendall Gammon serving as color analyst.
 
KSHQ ESPN 100.7 Radio with My Town Media begins it fourth season as the flagship station for Pitt State Athletics. Coverage begins one hour prior to kickoff. Veteran sportscaster Eddie Lomshek begins his 23
rd year affiliated with Pitt State broadcasts and his 14
th season handling play-by-play. Former Gorilla football player Mike Smith serves as color analyst, while Matthew Lomshek serves as sideline reporter. All game day programming can be heard online at 
espn1007.com or through the KSHQ app for smart phones and mobile devices.
 
Also, for the 2020 season, Pitt State's home games against UNK (Oct. 31) and Western Colorado (Nov. 21) are available, free of charge, via web stream on 
themiaanetwork.com. 
 
Brian Wright Shows to Debut Tonight
The Brian Wright Show also can be heard on ESPN 100.7 each Monday night, starting tonight, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
 
KODE TV also will host The Brian Wright Show tonight, and all Monday nights throughout the season, at 6:30 p.m., with KODE sports director Jake Stansell and Coach Wright previewing upcoming contests and recapping each previous week's Gorilla football action.
