PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team fell to No. 6 Northwest Missouri State University, 3-1.

The Bearcats started the match by taking the first set 25-22. Set two went the way of the Gorillas by a score of 25-20. The Bearcats would take the next set 25-22. The Bearcats would finish the match with a 25-21 set there win.

Junior Meg Auten would lead the Gorillas with 19 kills and nine digs. Setter Bri Richard tallied 44 assists against the Bearcats.

The Gorillas return to action Saturday (Oct. 23) to take on Missouri Western State University. First serve is set for 2 p.m.
