Wichita, Kan. – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team ended its road season with a win over Newman University, 3-0.

The Gorillas opened up early with a 25-22 set one win. The momentum continued into set two 25-21. Set three would be a hard fought victory for the Gorillas, 28-26.

Junior Meg Auten led the Gorillas with 15 kills and 17 digs. Libero Marissa bates tallied 20 digs against the Jets.

The gorillas will remain in Pittsburg for the remainder of the regular season, starting with the University of Central Missouri on Saturday Oct. 30.
