Box Score PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team lost in strait sets to the No. 2 ranked University of Central Missouri on Saturday (Oct. 30).
 
The Gorillas struggled early in the first set falling behind 11-4 to the Jennies. The Jennies would continue on and take the set 25-15. A long winded set two would eventually go the way of Central Missouri, 30-28.
 
The Jennies would continue the momentum into the third set and take it 25-15 and the match, 3-0.
 
Sophomore outside hitter Hannah Martin tallied 12 kills and three digs against the Jennies. Setter Bri Richard had 33 assists and four kills for the Gorillas.
 
Pitt State will remain at home for its next match up with No. 4 Washburn University Friday (Oct. 30).
