Tahlequah Okla. – In the final game of its Oklahoma road trip the Pittsburg State University men's basketball team fell to Northeastern State University, 59-42.

After a struggling 1st half from the field (7-27, 25.9%) the Gorillas would find themselves only down four, 21-25 at the break. The RiverHawks however, would come out of halftime firing on all cylinders, starting the half with a 16-7 run. The RiverHawks would finish the second half shooting 47.8% from the field.

Antonio Givens posted a double double with 10 points and 12 rebounds. He was the only Gorilla in double figures.

For the RiverHawks, Emeka Obukwelu tallied 19 points and nine rebounds. Christian Cook would add 15 points for the RiverHawks.

The Gorillas will be back in Pittsburg to take on Lincoln University on Wednesday (Dec. 15).
