Pitt State Volleyball Returns to Action Against ESU, UCM


PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University volleyball team will return to action Thursday (Feb. 25) when the Gorillas travel to Emporia, Kan., to battle MIAA rival Emporia State University at W.L. White Auditorium. Match time is set for 6 p.m. (CST).

The Gorillas made their 2020-21 spring season debut last Saturday (Feb. 20) by hosting a pair of matches at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court. Pitt State dropped a 3-1 decision to Washburn University and a 3-0 decision to Northwest Missouri State University that day.

Following the ESU match Thursday, the Gorillas will travel to Warrensburg, Mo., Friday (Feb. 26) for a 6 p.m. match against the University of Central Missouri.
