PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team heads to Topeka to take on a pair of MIAA foes Saturday (Mar. 27). The Gorillas will face Missouri Western at Noon (CDT) before finishing the day battling No. 18 Northwest Missouri at 4:30 p.m..
 
Pitt State is 2-6 on the season and 1-4 in MIAA play. The match-up with the Griffons will be the first this season. The Gorillas are 0-1 in the spring against Northwest Missouri, after dropping its second match of the year to the Bearcats, 3-0, in Pittsburg on Feb. 20.
 
The Griffons are 2-7 overall and 1-4 in MIAA play. The Griffons dropped thier last outing to No. 14 Washburn, 3-0. The 17th ranked Bearcats are 6-2 overall and 3-2 in the MIAA. The Bearcats fell to No. 14 Washburn, 3-1, the last time out.
