PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team will play host to Newman Friday (Apr. 2) and to Central Oklahoma Saturday (Apr. 3). Start time for Friday is set for 6 p.m. with start time for Saturday set for 2 p.m.
 
The Gorillas enter the MIAA action 2-6 and 1-4 in the MIAA. Pitt State's last outing it traveling to Topeka to take part in the Washburn Crosover. The Gorillas took on Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri in non-conference matchups. Pitt State fell to the Griffons in five sets 3-2. The No. 18^th ranked Bearcats swept the Gorillas in strait sets 3-0.
 
The Jets enter the matchup 2-12 and 1-6 in the MIAA. The Jets and the Gorillas met in early March with the Gorillas taking the match 3-0.
 
The Bronchos enter Pittsburg with a 10-4 record and a 5-2 record in the MIAA. The last meeting between Pitt State and Central Oklahoma, the Bronchos took the match 3-1.
