PITTSBURG – The Pittsburg State University volleyball team picked up a win over Central Oklahoma in five sets Saturday (Apr. 3), 3-2.

The Gorillas started off hot with a win in set one 25-16. The Bronchos bounced back and won set two, 25-22. Central Oklahoma took set three from the Gorillas, 25-19. Pitt State with its back against the wall picked up a set four win 25-22. Heading to set five with the game tied up at two. The Gorillas struggled early in the set trailing 9-2. Pitt State would come back and win the set 16-14. 

The win moved the Gorillas to 4-6 on the season. The Gorillas next action will be Tuesday (Apr. 6) when Central Missouri comes to town. The match is set for 7 p.m. in John Lance Arena.
