PITTSBURG -- Vanessa Gajdosova hit a guarded jumper just ahead of the final buzzer to lift Rogers State University to an 83-82 victory in double overtime Saturday (Jan. 29) at John Lance Arena/Whetzel Court.

Erin Davis made one of two free throws with 3.5 seconds left to give Pitt State (12-8, 7-7 MIAA) an 82-81 lead, but Gajdosova rebounded her miss and an RSU (8-13, 4-11 MIAA) timeout allowed the Hillcats to advance the ball into front court for the game's final play.

Jayme Jackson scored a team-leading 21 points and dished out seven assists to pace the Gorillas. She hit a game-tying basket in overtime to force the second extra session. Tristan Gegg added 18 points, while Julia Johnson finished with 14 points and eight rebounds.

Jordan Lewis led all scorers with 27 points for the Hillcats. Kylee Day added 20 and Gajdosova finished with 19.
