MARYVILLE, MO. — The Pittsburg State University volleynall team lost on the road to No. 11 Northwest Missouri State University Wednesday (Sept.21), 3-0.

The Bearcats took the first set by a score of 25-19. From there, the Bearcats took the second and third sets by scores of 25-12 and 25-18.

Meg Auten led the way offensively for the Gorillas with 10 kills and a .242 hitting percentage. Marissa Bates had 17 digs and Brianna Richard posted 19 assists.

The Gorillas are back home this Friday (Sept.23) for Red Out Night as they host the Lions of Missouri Southern. First serve is set for 6 p.m. (CDT).
