TOPEKA -- The Pittsburg State women's volleyball team dropped a hard fought 3-1 decision to Washburn University Saturday (Nov. 4) at Lee Arena. The Ichabods bested the Gorillas 25-17, 19-25, 25-23, 25-17.
Outside hitter Janae Thurston led the Gorillas with 11 kills and 15 digs for her 11th double-double of the season. Setter Jadyn Jackson collected 30 assists and 10 digs for her 14th double-double as well.
The Gorillas will close out regular season play by hosting Northwest Missouri State University and Missouri Western State University next Friday and Saturday (Nov. 10-11) at John Lance Arena.
