KEARNEY, Neb. - The Pittsburg State Univeristy volleyball team fell in straight sets to the fifth-ranked University of Nebraska-Kearney Lopers on Friday (Nov. 1) at the Health & Sports Center.
Set scores in favor of the Lopers (23-1, 10-1 MIAA) were 15-25, 14-25, 15-25.
For the Gorillas (10-11, 5-6 MIAA)
Carly Clennan led the team with eight kills (.312 Hitting Percentage).
Vix Vilott and
Anna Dean each finished with six kills with Vilott claiming 13 digs and Dean having a team-high four total blocks.
Josie McCroskey added 20 digs as
Rylee Martin and
Jesa Wallace split setting duties with 11 assists each.
Up next for Pitt State will be the Fort Hays State University Tigers, Saturday (Nov. 2) with first serve from Gross Memorial Coliseum set for 2:00 p.m. (CT).
