Box Score PITTSBURG — The Harding University volleyball team got a match high 19 kills from Delaney Garner to help spark the Bison to a 3-1 victory over Pittsburg State University Saturday (Sept. 21).

Harding overcome a 25-15 first-set loss to sweep sets two through four 25-18, 27-25, 25-18 in the final match of the two-day Regional Challenge hosted at John Lance Arena.

The Gorillas (5-5) got 17 kills and 10 digs from Vix Vilott, but Pitt State couldn't overcome 25 attack errors and eight service errors in the match. Josie McCroskey added 27 digs and Anna Dean chipped in with seven kills and five block assists for the Gorillas. Ivy Fink added six kills, four service aces and 21 digs.

Pitt State will open MIAA play next week on the road against Arkansas-Fort Smith and Central Oklahoma.
