Ryann Caruth came close to adding a second for Pitt State in the 38th minute with her effort beating a jumping Wright but clipping the crossbar for a UCM goal kick.
Jocelyn Kramar picked up her 10th shutout of the season and fourth in a row, following a key save coming at 17:42 in the match. From point blank range, the sophomore goalkeeper tipped over the crossbar a close effort from UCM's Izzy Joyce.
