KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Pittsburg State University women's soccer junior defender Ann Boehnlein, sophomore midfielder/forward Carrie Cunningham and sophomore goalkeeper Jocelyn Kramar were named MIAA Athletes of the Week as announced by the conference office Tuesday (Nov. 4).

Cunningham, an Olathe, Kan., native scored the game-winning goal against No. 18 Central Missouri (Nov. 2) while finishing with a match-high four shots, three of which were on goal. This season she is leading the Gorillas with five goals, 44 shots, 21 shots on goal and three game-winning goals.

Boehnlein, a Lee's Summit, Mo., native helped the Gorillas end the week with a pair of shutout wins on the road. Against Central Oklahoma (Oct. 31) scored the game-winning goal aginast the Bronchos, her first goal of the season. This season she has contributed to all 10 shutouts for the Gorillas and provided two assists.

Kramar a Fort Collins, Colo., native picked up her 10th shutout of the season and has now kept four straight shutouts over the past two weeks. Against UCO (Oct. 31) in the Gorillas 2-0 win, saved a career-high nine shots. Currently leads the MIAA with 10 shutouts, a .433 GAA and .588 shutout percentage while ranking third in the league for save percentage at .848.

This week the Gorillas will end the regular season with a 6:00 p.m. (CT) match on Wednesday (Nov. 5) in Joplin, Mo., against the Missouri Southern State University Lions at Hal Bodon Field.
