PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University men's and women's indoor track & field teams will open their 2025-26 seasons by hosting the Boo Rogers Combined Events Friday (Dec. 5) and the Crimson & Gold Invitational Saturday (Dec. 6) at the Robert W. Plaster Center.
The Boo Rogers Combined Events will start at 11:30 a.m. (CST) Friday. The women's pentathlon action will wrap up shortly after 6:30 p.m. with the running of the 800 meters. The men will compete in four of seven events in the heptathlon Friday, then return Saturday starting at 9 a.m. to wrap up their competition.
The Crimson & Gold Invitational begins at 11:30 a.m. (CST) Saturday. The men's and women's 5,000 meters competition will be held Friday starting at 7:15 p.m.

Admission will be charged Saturday only. Cost is $5. Children 12 & under are free as are PSU students with I.D. Both meets also will be live streamed on themiaanetwork.com.
Thirty-one teams, including MIAA rivals Missouri Southern, Rogers State and Washburn, and more than 1,000 athletes will compete in Pittsburg this weekend.
The Pitt State women and men captured swept both the 2025 MIAA Indoor Championships as well as the 2025 NCAA Division II Indoor National Championships a year ago.
