ST. JOSEPH, Mo. - The Pittsburg State University women's basketball team won it's 14th straight conference game, 77-62 on the road against Missouri Western Thursday (Feb. 13) at the MWSU Fieldhouse.
As a team the Gorillas (22-2, 14-0 MIAA) never trailed in the contest and held a lead of 32 (60-28) with 3:17 remaining in the third quarter.Â
Grace Pyle finished with 21 points, five rebounds and four assists.
Harper Schreiner stuffed the stat sheet with 13 points, six assists, five rebounds and two steals.
Macie Mays (13) and
Hannah Nilges (10) rounded out double figure scorers for Pitt State.
Missouri Western (15-7, 10-4 MIAA) was led by Kassandra Caron off the bench, finishing with 18 points and seven rebounds.
Up next for the Gorillas is the Northwest Missouri State University Bearcats on Saturday (Feb. 15) from Bearcat Arena, tipoff is set for 1:30 p.m. (CST).
