PITTSBURG — The Pittsburg State University Department of Intercollegiate Athletics is pleased to announce it will host the 2025 Gorilla Kick Off Party and Auction on Friday, August 15, at the Robert W. Plaster Center. 
 
The Gorilla Kick Off Party and Auction has a "Block Party" feel, where patrons are encouraged to come relaxed and ready to spend time with PSU coaches and staff as well as fellow Gorilla fans in a fun atmosphere. Happy Hour begins at 6 p.m. followed by dinner, yard games, wine pull & drawings and live music. The live auction, which will begin at approximately 8 p.m. and feature the world famous Nigro Brothers from Kansas City, will showcase PSU memorabilia, professional sports memorabilia, trip packages, jewelry, patio accents, purse/handbags and much more.
