WARRENSBURG, Mo. – The Pittsburg State University men's team dropped a 78-61 road decision to the University of Central Missouri in the regular season finale for both schools Saturday (Feb. 28) at the Jerry Hughes Athletics Center.

Mason English paced the Gorillas (15-14, 9-10 MIAA) with 19 points in the contest, while Ethan Sage logged his third double-double of the season with 10 points and a game-high 12 rebounds.

UCM (23-8, 14-5 MIAA) got 27 points and 10 rebounds from Lazerek Houston and 22 points and seven rebounds from Trinell Parker.

Pitt State will now await the release of the 2026 MIAA Postseason Tournament bracket later tonight.
