EL DORADO, Ark. - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team completed the first day of the Arkansas Collegiate on Monday (Mar. 23) at the Mystic Creek Golf Course.
As a team, Pittsburg State ended the day in fifth at +58 (+35/23).
Tyler Hardtarfer is the top individual, at +11 (+9/+2) to be ninth in the standings.
Jack Randall (+14, 18th),
Mason White (+15, 22nd),
Keaton Thissen (+18, 35th) and
David Hobart (+25, 66th) rounded out the team competing for the Gorillas.
Harding leads the team standings at +24 (+13/+11) with Dennis Staykov from HU at -1 (-2/+1) the leading individual for the tournament.
Starting at 8:00 a.m. (CDT) on Tuesday (Mar. 24), Pittsburg State and the other school competing at the Arkansas Collegiate will begin the final round of play.
Following the conclusion of the Arkansas Collegiate, the Gorillas will host the Tommy Riggs Collegiate Invitational at Crestwood Country Club (Mar. 31-31) in a MIAA point event.
