Men Travel To Arizona For Maverick Desert Classic

PITTSBURG - The Pittsburg State University men's golf team is set to begin the Maverick Desert Classic on Monday (Mar. 9) in Goodyear, Ariz.

Last week the Gorillas completed the Shadow Valley Invite (Mar. 2-3) tied for eighth as a team as Mason White finished 15th.

Monday, Pitt State will have White, Keaton Thissen, Tyler Hardtarfer, Jack Randall, Cooper Forth and Theo Juhl competing. The 12-team tournament is being hosted by the University of Minnesota State - Mankato at the Palm Valley Golf Course.
