EL DORADO, Ark. - The Pittsburg State University women's golf team completed the first day of the Arkansas Collegiate on Monday (Mar. 9) at the Mystic Creek Golf Course.

As a team, the Gorillas are in eighth (+41) after the first round of play with all four members of the team in the Top 50 individuals.

Kylee Hopper and Kymbree Larance (+8) are tied for 23rd with Hopper coming away with a pair of birdies and Larance finishing with 12 pars after the opening round. Abby Ervin (+10) in 30th and Charlotte Kerbs (+15) in 44th rounded out the team.

Union (Tenn.) leads the team standings at +17 with Brooklyn Verdugo (E) the leading individual after the first 18 holes.
