Kayvon Nubine each earned MIAA Track Athlete of the Week honors for men's and women's outdoor track & field Tuesday (Apr. 28).
Williams clocked the fastest time in NCAA Division II in the 400 meters this season at the University of Arkansas John McDonnell Invitational last Friday (Apr. 24). The junior from Katy, Texas, crossed the finish line in 45.89 seconds. His personal best effort moved him to No. 3 on Pitt State's all-time record list in the discipline.
Nubine clocked the seventh fastest time in Division II in the 100-meter hurdles this season at the John McDonnell Invite. The sophomore from Edmond, Okla., crossed the finish line in 13.51 seconds. She ranks No. 3 on Pitt State's all-time record list in the discipline.
